Located inside the lake park, the Goyang 600th Anniversary Exhibition Hall displays the past, present and future of Goyang, a city whose history stretches beyond 600 years to 5,000 years. Goyang received its name in 1413, the 13th year of King Taejong of Joseon, when Gobong and Deogyang were merged, and has reached the present day through the Japanese colonial period and new-town development. Here you can learn about Goyang's history through the Story Tunnel, Goyang's Gawaji rice seeds from 5,000 years of history, Goyang in history, cultural heritage, and more.

Located on the northeast side of Jeongbalsan Mountain, this traditional commoner's house of central Korea from the late Joseon period was built about 170 years ago. This village was once covered with chestnut trees and was called Bamgasi or Yul-dong, and 'Bamgasi Thatched House' got its name because chestnut wood was used as the main material for daily goods and buildings. The anbang (main room), kitchen, geonneonbang (room across the hall) and barn are arranged in a square courtyard layout. A sky opening was made in the middle of the inner courtyard, and the yard beneath it was lowered by one step so that rain or snow dripping from the eaves would not run off beyond the lower level.

Pungdong Aenigol is a Gyeonggi-do designated Food Culture Street that is reviving the glory of the old Baekma Aenigol. Baekma Cafe Village is a romantic street preserved in the memories of the 386 generation, who set out from Sinchon, got off at Baekma Station on the Gyeongui Line, and built memories of delicious food. Most of it disappeared after the Ilsan New Town development, but about 80 restaurants and cafes have opened in Pungdong, 2 km away, keeping alive the old glory and memories. At live cafes where acoustic guitar melodies flow, you can relax with a cup of coffee, and Pungdong Aenigol is still as romantic as ever.
