  • Pungdong Aenigol
    Pungdong Aenigol VIEW
    Those with discernible taste would be greeted with surprise and joy at Pungdong Aenigol. Restaurants to feed everyone’s taste from the adventurous gourmand to those on a romantic date, you would be spoilt for choices. There are over eighty restaurants and cafes here with twelve elegant and formal Korean specialty restaurants, eight western-style restaurants, three serving Japanese cuisines, twenty-four steak houses plus five Norae-bangs. There are also many cafes where you can enjoy live music or acoustic guitar players that play nostalgic songs from the 80’s and 90’s.
  • Suyeogimaeul
    Suyeogimaeul VIEW
    Suyeogi Village, also called “Swaegi”, is located between Wondang Station and Seosamneung(Tombs). Its original name is “Suyeok-i Village” in which “Suyeok” in Korean refers to a region possessing an abundance of water. Ancient records reveal the common usage of this particular term but, as time passed, Suyeok-i has gradually became known as “Swaegi”. It was a typical agricultural village with wide open fields in front of the village but, in the early 2000s, experienced a great influx of many different restaurants, which eventually evolved the area into becoming a famous food village boasting not only webfoot octopus but also grilled, dried pollack and tofu dishes.

  • Haengjusanseong Eel Village
    Haengjusanseong Eel Village VIEW
    Eel Town refers to a grilled eel restaurant alley, which is located near the entrance of Haenjusan-seong and having a commanding great view of the Hangang (River). Eel grilled on charcoal after having been marinated with fruit and herbal sauces is the most popular menu, followed by samgey-tang(chicken soup) and haemul-tang(spicy seafood stew).

    Seooreung Food Street VIEW
    Designated World Culture Heritage, Seo-O-reung is surrounded by a large Galbi (beef/pork ribs) restaurant with a beautiful garden as well as other various Korean restaurants with long traditions of producing high quality local favorites.
