Celebrating autumn, the city of flowers and beautiful people Goyang City holds the ‘2017 Goyang International Lake Cartoon Festival.’ First started in 2004, this annual festival is a result of mutual effort between different organizations from cartoon-related organizations to educational institutions and youth cartoon clubs, aiming to promote diversity in youth culture.

In 2017, the festival includes an exhibition of winners of the youth cartoon competition and of young cartoonists as well as a webtoon exhibition, webtoon artists’ signing events, character exhibition, and experience programs.
