La Festa, Western Dom VIEW

Lafesta Mall opened with the aim of putting Ilsan on the map as a shopping destination. In addition, it serves as an all-inclusive spot to enjoy cultural events and delicious foods. The mall is divided into six separate buildings over a 300 meter-long avenue, with each block having its own bright and vibrant design. The mall has everything from beauty shops to a food court to an eight-theater cineplex!
WesternDom VIEW

Situated behind MBC Dream Center (Janghang-dong, Ilsan), Western Dom is one of the most popular places in Ilsan along with Lafesta, an open street shopping mall. Western Dom (B2F to 10F) houses over 500 shops offering international food, clothing, accessories and cosmetics; it also boasts the Multiplex Cinema (with one IMAX screen) and the Western Tower, a luxury office town. Introducing the concept of “Modern-style Traditional Market,” Western Dom offers diverse items by themes, displayed at over 100 stalls. The building is designed to ease the flow of foot traffic and is decorated with a wide array of works by local artists. Its ceiling showcases colorful lighting at night and its spacious main square offers exciting events and performances year-round. Near Western Dom are shopping malls (e.g. Lotte Department Store and Homever), Lake Park, Migwan Square, and Jeongbalsan Park.

This is the innovative, integrated cultural space combining a water park, a snow park and a shopping mall, the first of its kind in the world, which can be enjoyed for 365 days a year. Within close proximity to major tourist attractions such as Lake Park, the Spectacular Musical Fountain and KINTEX, One Mount has been the location for many K-pop music videos, one of which is Psy’s “Gentleman”, movies, and TV shows including “Running Man”. Wondang Market/ Neunggok Market VIEW

The three major markets of Goyang City are Ilsan, Wondang, and Daegok. Among them, the traditional markets of Wondang and Dagok in Deokyang-gu, though small, are simple but warm-hearted places that sells a variety of products such as agricultural produce and foodstuffs. It is easy to get around these markets as their scale is not that big.
