Goyang 600th Anniversary Museum VIEW

Located in Lake Park, the museum is a space that displays the past, present and future of Goyang, a city that has more than 600 years of history in the 5000 year history of the Korean peninsula. Goyang got it’s name in 1413, the 13th year of the Joseon Dynasty, through the combination of the districts Gobong and Deokyang. Here, you can meet Goyang’s history through the Story Tunnel, 5000 years of history through Gawaji Rice, Goyang in History, and cultural artifacts.
Goyang Culture Center VIEW

Goyang Cultural Center opened in 1984 to preserve, discover, develop and promote the tradition and culture of Goyang city. In efforts to preserve and nurture cultural values, Goyang Cultural Center holds traditional culture performances and offers educational training and lectures related to Korean cultural art.
Latin America Culture Center VIEW

This is the largest Latin American museum in Asia. The building architecture and garden landscape are reminiscence of those found in Latin America. In the halls of exhibits you can find artifacts from the Maya, Inca, and Aztec civilizations from Central and South America. The art gallery showcases the works of contemporary Latin American artists while in the hall of religion, you can see representative religious artworks and iconagraphs of the region. The museum also has a superb sulpture park good for a quiet stroll.
Securities Museum VIEW

The museum helps understand economic concepts that often seem foreign to many people through various hands-on experience, such as issuing stocks, and a look at the history of various securities markets in other countries.
Aerospace Museum VIEW

This museum, located in the Korea Aerospace University, has displays on aerospace science with scientific understanding and indirect experience. With flight simulator, virtual experience equipment, graphic panel, real and model display you can indirectly experience the principle of flight, the structure of an aircraft, flight experience and even dream toward the sky. The history of space development and materials that satisfy curiosity such as rockets, satellites, astronauts, space suits, and space food are exhibited to answer questions about our future in Space.
National Women’s History Exhibition Hall VIEW

The National Women’s History Exhibition Hall is run by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family under the Framework Act on Women’s Development since 2002. As a visitor, you will encounter countless lives and experiences of women throughout our history. The Exhibition Hall presents the great and the beautiful stories on women contributing to the historical development, the stories on women who changed history through their creative wisdom, the heartbreaking stories on sacrifices women made during the wartime and the colonial period, and the stories of the women’s movement emphasizing world peace through gender equality.
Yujin Folk Museum VIEW

It is place where folk materials and exhibits containing the life and wisdom of the ancestors are displayed. Korean traditional farming and traditional houses are on display. Through the potteries, traditional wedding dresses, and everyday tools on display you are able to immerse yourselves into the daily lives of our ancestors. There are a variety of experience programs such as etiquette education, pottery making, natural dyeing, making everyday items with rice-straws, and seasonal customs experience. In particular, in the traditional food experience, you can spend a most meaningful time by making and partaking the foods of our ancestors, helping you understand the lives of your ancestors better.
Gawaji Rice Museum VIEW

The exhibitions here show the life, changes, and cycles of agriculture. As an educational institution you can learn the wisdom of our ancestors in how they live with harmony with nature.
